Library Community Room

The Library's historic Community Room is available to rent when not in use by the Library or other City Departments and when Library Administration determines rental will not interfere with normal Library operations.

Prime-Time Rates: Friday, 4:00 p.m. through Sunday, 10:00 p.m.

Rental Fees

Deposit Fee

Refundable Deposit: $294

Use of the Library Community Room requires a deposit if alcohol is served, and in other instances at the discretion of Library Administration. The deposit is fully refundable, provided the facility is clean and returned to its original condition.

Hourly Rate

Minimum rental is 2 hours.

• Non-Profit: $118
• Non-Profit (Prime time*): $194

• Non-Resident (Prime time*): $218

*Prime time is Friday, 4 p.m. through Sunday, 10 p.m. All applications must be completed/processed, with all fees paid, at least 14-days prior to the event date.

Equipment Available for an Additional Fee:

• Audiovisual system - $70 (Digital projector, screen, DVD/Blu-ray Player, CD player, surround sound speakers)
• Baldwin piano - $42 (Tuned quarterly. Note: Steinway piano located in NE corner of room is not for use by renters and may not be moved or touched, nor should anything be placed on top of it.)
