Purpose, Membership, and Terms

The Public Works Infrastructure Commission (MTIC) is a nine member body to serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council on the following:

  • Policy matters related to infrastructure including water, sewer, stormwater, power, transportation, streets, sidewalks, buildings, parks, and city facilities and properties;
  • Transportation mobility policy matters including traffic management plans, transit, multimodal transportation and active transportation, evolving transportation and mobility technologies, parking management, and regional transportation matters;
  • Federal, state, regional and local infrastructure funding and planning;
  • Utility management including water, sewer, power, and stormwater;
  • Providing input on infrastructure policies and plans such as the City’s capital improvement program, and public works comprehensive planning documents, such as those related to water, sewer, stormwater, power, transportation, streets, sidewalks, buildings, parks, and city facilities and properties.
  • The Public Works Infrastructure Commission shall also serve as a forum for community input on public works infrastructure topics.

The PWIC welcomes public input. If you would like to comment on this agenda item, members of the public may participate by means of one of the following options:
