Basic Life Insurance

The City of South Pasadena is committed to provide each employee with a $50,000 Life Insurance policy at no cost. Additional coverage can be purchased at the employee's expense.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment 

The City agrees to provide each employee with an Accidental Death & Dismemberment Insurance policy in the sum of $50,000. 

Supplemental Life/AD&D Insurance allows you to purchase additional life insurance coverage up to $500,000, as well as $25,00 coverage for spouse & $10,000 coverage for children at employee cost. 

Long & Short Term Disability 

The City contributes 100% of the cost of Long Term Disability for every employee. 

Short Term Disability is offered through Aflac, this policy can pay a portion of their income in the event the employee is unable to work due to a covered illness or injury.
