Mission-Meridian Garage Parking
Public Parking Permits Available Onsite at the Mission-Meridian Village Parking Garag
The Mission-Meridian Village (MMV) Parking Garage is located adjacent to the South Pasadena Metro Gold Line Station at 805 Meridian Avenue and serves both local patrons and Metro commuters. Paid parking permits are required from 4 AM to 12 Noon, Monday through Friday, and can be purchased onsite through the parking permit machine located next to the stairwell/elevator exit in the MMV Parking Garage. Daily and monthly permits are available. To purchase a parking permit, simply enter your vehicle’s license plate number, select the type of permit you wish to purchase, and submit payment. The parking permit machine accepts credit cards only. Permits do not need to be displayed.

Free Public Parking
FREE parking available 12 NOON to 2 AM, Monday through Friday. FREE all day on Weekends & Holidays.

Overnight Parking Permits
Overnight parking permits are required in the City of South Pasadena if you and/or your guest plan to park on the street in excess of 30 minutes between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. For your convenience, overnight parking permits may be purchased either online or in person at the Police Department located at 1422 Mission St.
Purchase an Overnight Parking Permit
The fees and restrictions for overnight parking permits are:
Daily Permit:
Permits may be purchased in 1, 2, and 3 day increments, for a maximum of 3 days purchased at one time.
Monthly Permit:
Each household may only purchase one monthly permit per month, at a maximum of 3 months (in any increment - 1, 2, or 3 month permit) for a 12 consecutive month period.
Annual Permit:
Each household is entitled to one permit per year without a site inspection. Multiple permits requested for an address must have a site inspection to verify that off street parking is not available. Annual permits are valid for 12 months from date of purchase.

Please keep in mind the following restrictions for overnight parking permits:
- Overnight parking permits are valid only between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
- Overnight parking permits must be displayed on the lower left side of driver's side windshield to be valid
- Overnight parking permits must not cover the vehicle identification number
- Overnight parking permits are only valid for the vehicle for which it was purchased (non-transferable).
- An overnight parking permit does not exempt the holder from other applicable City Ordinances (such as, but not limited to, 72-hour parking restrictions) or California Vehicle Codes.
Additional Overnight Parking Restrictions:
- No permit will be issued for any commercial vehicle exceeding a maximum gross weight of five thousand pounds, unladen, or ninety-six inches in width (City Ordinance Section 19.69).
- No permit will be issued for any oversized vehicles defined as having a height in excess of eight feet, a length in excess of twenty-five feet, or a width in excess of eight feet (City Ordinance Section 19.57-1).
Preferential District Parking
Several preferential parking districts exist in the City of South Pasadena. Permits for those districts are issued at no cost. Permits are valid for the calendar year ending December 31st.
Residents (each household) may receive 3 permits. The permit does not exempt the holder from other applicable City Ordinances (such as, but not limited to, overnight parking restrictions) or California Vehicle Codes.

Mission-Meridian Preferential Parking District:
Permit is valid only in 3-hour time zone areas and allows the permit holder to park beyond the 3-hour limit. Permits must be displayed from the rear view mirror to be valid. Residents (each household) in the Mission-Meridian Preferential Parking District may receive 3 permits. Business owners may receive the number of permits as they have employees on their business license. Two part-time employees equal one full-time employee.
On Thursdays the South Pasadena Farmers' Market takes place within the Mission-Meridian Preferential Parking District, so pay close attention to the parking signs.
Ramona/Oak #1:
Permits are valid only in specific Residential Preferential Parking District. Permits must be displayed from rear view mirror or on the driver's side rear bumper to be valid. Permits are issued at no cost. Residents are entitled to three permits. Permits are valid for the calendar year ending December 31st.
Ramona:
Ramona Preferential Parking District permits are valid only on Ramona Avenue between Oak Street and Rollin Street. The permit exempts the holder from the following parking restrictions: No parking on Saturday and Sunday. 1-hour parking on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Oak #1:
Oak Preferential Parking District permits are valid only on Oak Street between Fremont Avenue and Ramona Avenue. The permit exempts the holder from the following parking restrictions: No parking on Saturday and Sunday. 1-hour parking on weekdays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
