The City of South Pasadena Community Services Department is thrilled to announce Around the World in South Pasadena, a vibrant multicultural festival celebrating the diversity of our community. Join us on Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Library Park, located at 1115 El Centro Street, South Pasadena.
This year’s event promises a day filled with exciting performances, delicious food, and enriching cultural experiences.
Performance Schedule:
Enjoy a variety of performances throughout the day, including:
- Welcome by Community Services Director Sheila Pautsch (11:00 a.m. to 11:05 a.m.)
- Tai Ji Men Qigong Academy Performance (11:05 a.m. to 11:25 a.m.)

- Bayanihan Filipino Folk Dance Company (11:45 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.)

Street Closures and Parking Information:
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, the following street closures will be in effect:
- Oxley Street between Fairview Avenue and Diamond Avenue;
- Diamond Avenue between El Centro Street and Oxley Street;
- El Centro Street between Diamond Avenue and Fairview Avenue; and
- Fairview Avenue between El Centro Street and Oxley Street.
The road closure is expected from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motorists should expect delays and follow posted signs for traffic guidance. Street parking is available in addition to the parking lot located at 1020 El Centro Street. We encourage attendees to consider public transportation or carpooling to reduce congestion.
