Public Works

The Public Works Department are to provide for the efficient operation of public works systems and programs such as water system management, sewer maintenance, waste management and recycling, water conservation, traffic management, street design and maintenance, maintenance of public facilities and parks, and graffiti removal while protecting the environment and responding to the needs of the citizens.

Public Works Administration coordinates all activities of the City's Capital Improvement Program. It also reviews plans, issues permits, and provides inspections for private construction projects involving grading or public right-of-way work.

Services Available:
Public Works Operations continues to accept and process service requests for the community. In addition, staff is on standby afterhours and during the weekend. Fallen branches, down trees and park maintenance.

Water Division

Services Available:
Water is safe to drink and there is plenty of water available. Water quality operations are normal and the department continues to provide meter reading, water quality testing , and essential services without interruptions. During this time, there will be no water shutoffs and late fees will be delayed. In addition, staff is on standby afterhours and during the weekend.
